Internship: Human Resources: Tribeca Film Festival

Working with the Human Resources Team, you will be supporting and working with the following: 

*Note that job not limited to these responsibilities and can change daily depending on needs and fire drills - if you're averse to change, this is probably not the role for you! 

  • Seasonal Staff Onboarding + Orientation (with HR Team) 
    • Manage smooth transition of all seasonal employees onboarding process 
    • Maintain streamlined I9 process to ensure timely completion of documentation
    • Manage Crew (paid Volunteer) Orientation + Training Materials 
    • Coordinate with Seasonal Crew Manager as first stop for questions and information 
    • Ensure paperwork is properly maintained, organized and correctly filled out 
    • Support HR Team in running payroll for seasonal employees
  • Training 
    • Manage the expense process to ensure that all employees understand how to use Expensify system and work with finance so they have accurate reporting 
    • Assist employees with issues and questions for our time tracking system, Deputy 
  • Support
    • Coordinate with hiring managers so all seasonal job postings are up to date, tailored to their needs and they have enough candidates 
    • Manage mail to ensure important items are responded to and documented
  • Special Projects
    •  Organize HRIS data and create digital archive 
    •  Big Ideas: join our weekly HR Strategy brainstorm 
    •  Assist in company-wide meeting and event planning as needed


  • Pursuing or obtained a Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Professional demeanor and employee-service driven goals while having sensitivity to the confidential and critical nature of HR information and activities 
  • High attention to detail in order to identify potential issues and work to create solutions 
  • Understand the importance of employment compliance, especially regarding employment eligibility, confidentiality, proper maintenance of employee files, and forms management 
  • Understanding of HRIS systems; experience with BambooHR is a huge plus 
  • High level of professionalism and emotional maturity are required (although we're not always mature!)
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) are a must.


  • This is a paid internship at $15/hr. 
  • Start date is mid-late January 2019
